He said that the internship, which lasts for 1 semester, not only adds a great deal of field experience to the student, but also provides the opportunity for direct recruitment. Head of the Department of Electricity and Energy, Assistant Professor İsmail Becenen gave general information about the Hybrid and Electric Vehicles Technology department, which has just been introduced to our university and which is accepting students for the first time in the 2021-2022 period. Stating that it is extremely important to provide graduates with experience in meeting the technical staff needs of the sector in the maintenance, repair, sale, design and development of electric vehicles, he emphasized that the situation is a great opportunity for domestic companies such as TOGG.

Noting that the students received theoretical and practical training on charging stations, battery systems, vehicle design, maintenance and repair, he emphasized that the extracurricular activities were carried out as a result of the students own demands.

Yüce Auto executives İbrahim Boylu and Serhat Artun stated that the developing electric vehicle industry is currently looking for personnel, especially in service, and this search will increase in the future. He mentioned that the course contents and practices given in the department meet the needs of the sector, and that graduate students are highly employed all over Turkey if they gain sufficient practice.
