CLOTHING PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY

In the Clothing Production Technology Program, associate degree education is given for 2 years in accordance with the 3+1 Education System. The curriculum includes theoretical and applied compulsory, vocational and elective courses in accordance with the Bologna process, as well as vocational training and internship courses in business in the 4^th semester, practically at the place where the students will work for a semester.

Students who graduate from the Clothing Production Technology Program receive the title of "Clothing Production Technician".

Our goal for our students who graduated as a result of the two-year Clothing Production Technology Program; In the textile and ready-made clothing sector, which has wide employment opportunities in our country, meeting the need for the required personnel for the production organization, knowing the textile materials and by-products well, having a good command of pattern preparation programs, well-known sewing machines with advanced pattern drawing and cutting skills, problem solving, sewing knowledge, is to train technical staff who can draw the pattern of the work to be done and work efficiently.

Our students will be able to do clothing illustration and technical drawing, prepare collections and samples, choose the main and auxiliary materials according to the characteristics of the clothes to be produced, prepare clothing patterns, prepare a pattern plan and lay out, cut, serialize, make mass production, decorate clothing, make a brand name. By learning marketing, quality control, product development, product follow-up, finishing ironing and final control, as a qualified employee in R&D, customer relations, model house, slaughterhouse, manufacturing, quality control, marketing, shipping departments in textile and ready-made clothing enterprises. They will graduate with the qualifications to work.

Students who graduated from all high schools, especially those who graduated from vocational high schools "Clothing Production Technology" "Fashion Design Technologies" "Textile Technology" can choose this program. Our students will graduate with 120 ECTS credits at the end of the 2-year associate degree process. The courses are theoretical, applied, compulsory, vocational and elective, and the point we aim to reach in the program; Our aim is to ensure that our graduates are trained as qualified, technical staff who can adapt to their jobs in a short time when they start their business life, have knowledge and skills in production organization, brand management and occupational safety.

• Students of Clothing Production Technology program will be able to transfer to Fashion Clothing Design, Fashion Design, Fashion and Textile Design, Textile Engineering, Textile and Fashion Design undergraduate programs with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).

• Students of the Clothing Production Technology program can transfer to the clothing production technology program of other universities by horizontal transfer. They can also study at other universities with Farabi, Erasmus and Mevlana exchange programs.

• Students of the clothing production technology program can continue from the 3rd year of the Open Education Faculties of Economics and Business Administration and complete their bachelor's degree.

In our school, there is a Clothing Production workshop and a computer laboratory that follows today's technology belonging to the Clothing Production Technology Program.

Clothing Production Workshop: There are 20 sewing machines, 4 and 5 thread overlock machines, domestic sewing machine, hemming machine, embroidery machine, dyeing machine, washing machine, two irons with steam generator.

Computer Laboratory: Introductory computer classes and computer applied lessons laboratory are equipped with computers where each student can work separately.
