BIOMEDICAL DEVICE TECHNOLOGY
Biomedical Device Technology Program: Theoretical courses in the Biomedical Device Technology Program are supported by the applications made in the electrical workshop. In addition, support is taken from Trakya University Hospital. Students get information about the operation and repair methods of the devices in the hospital environment, and they get to know medical devices closely.
Graduate students gain knowledge about the basic physics-biological principles on which most of the medical devices are based, and the working principles of the devices. The student learns what to do in the processes that a device will encounter throughout its life, from installation to maintenance-repair and scrapping. Students gain competence in the organization of technical service, the management of vital processes such as calibration and the functioning of hospitals in addition to intervening in devices.
Our students can work in hospitals as technical staff responsible for devices with this knowledge that they have acquired. Companies that produce, sell, and provide maintenance and repair medical devices, calibration laboratories also employ our graduates
